2. Portugal

A country known for its nostalgic charm, Portugal is also home to some magnificent natural beauty. Bordering the Atlantic Ocean, it has some of the best surfing in the world. The wild Azores archipelago, the island of Madeira with its unspoiled nature, and of course the Algarve, are also ideal for hiking and outdoor activities.

Iceland is the ultimate adventure traveller’s paradise! Take your pick of activities, from spectacular whale-watching to hiking over ancient glaciers, exploring geothermal lagoons, volcanic craters and vast National Parks. And if that’s not enough, you might even be able to see the Northern Lights depending on the time of year you visit.
